The University of Missouri maintained section of the Columbia Recreation Trail, that extends from Grindstone Park to the MKT Trail, begins at the Hinkson Creek bridge and continues to the MKT Trail. This trail is open to hikers, bikers, and anyone wishing to enjoy the natural area along the southern edge of the campus and Hinkson creek area.
