American Holly – Ilex opaca
A slow-growing, pyramidal evergreen that can reach 50 feet in height. Its glossy, green leaves and
red berries make it a standout on the winter landscape. As only female trees produce berries, a
male tree must be planted nearby to ensure pollination.
