Yellow flowers in summer and papery, lantern-like fruit pods in the fall make this medium- sized
shade tree an attractive specimen for the home lawn. A native of China and Korea, this fast-
growing tree can tolerate heat and drought, but should be sited carefully as it is a prolific seeder.
