Cucumbertree Magnolia – Magnolia acuminata
Cucumbertree is a large growing tree with greenish-yellow flowers in late spring. Its common name
comes from the appearance of its immature fruit. It is fast-growing and adaptable to our calcareous
soils but difficult to transplant.
