Black Gum – Nyssa sylvatica
This specimen tree has a dependable and beautiful crimson fall color. It is difficult to transplant but
adaptable to variety of locations including heavy clays and moist soils. It is often found in the
Ozark upland forests.
Adopted by Robin and George Kennedy to celebrate 40 years.
